The Arabo Friesian is a modern look a like of a Friesian horse with Arabic blood.
The goal of breeding an Arabo Friesian is to breed a horse with the appearance of a modern Friesian with a lovely character and with greater sport capacity. The Arabo Friesian provides more flexibility and is more responsive to riders. The Arabo Friesian is also a perfect horse for recreational equestrians because of its good character.
The current register for Arabo Friesian horses was established on the 21st of March 2000 and since 2006, the Arabo Friesian Association was officially recognised as European studbook. They are now responsible for all documents, passports and pedigrees.
